Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Avin's website, mobile app, and services. The in-app version is the legally binding one and is reviewed in every region we operate in. The plain-English summary on this page is provided for clarity, not as a substitute.

1. About Avin
Avin is a financial technology company. Banking, money-transmission, custody, and investment services are delivered by licensed partners in each region we serve. Avin is responsible for the app experience, the ledger, and the integration of those services; the regulated partner is responsible for the underlying financial activity.
2. Eligibility
To open an Avin account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your region).
- Be a resident of a region where Avin operates.
- Not appear on applicable sanctions or watchlists.
- Successfully complete identity verification (KYC).
We may decline or close an account where we are required to by law, where we cannot verify identity, or where activity indicates serious risk.
3. Your account & security
You're responsible for keeping your device, biometric credentials, and recovery factors secure. Avin uses device binding, biometrics, transaction monitoring, and configurable approvals to protect your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access; we will work with you to investigate and, where applicable, reimburse losses in line with the in-app terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Avin to:
- Conduct illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
- Fund or receive payment for prohibited goods and services.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or probe the service outside our security disclosure programme.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity.
5. Fees
Account fees, transfer fees, foreign-exchange costs, card spreads, and any applicable membership fees are shown in the app before you confirm a transaction. We don't add hidden spreads on top of the mid-market rate. Schedules may differ by region and by membership tier; the in-app version is authoritative.
6. Custody of assets
- Fiat: held with regulated partner banks under applicable safeguarding or deposit rules.
- Precious metals: stored in audited, allocated vaults — your bar numbers are recorded against your name.
- Crypto: held with qualified custodians with institutional-grade key management.
In every case, customer assets are segregated from Avin's own balance sheet and from the partner's own assets, to the extent permitted by local law.
7. Risks
Holding currencies, metals, and crypto involves price risk, liquidity risk, and regulatory risk. The value of your holdings can rise and fall. Past performance does not predict future results. Where products are protected by deposit or investor schemes, the scope and limits are described in-app and depend on the region and the product.
8. AI features
The AI Assistant and AI Trader are tools, not financial advisors. Outputs are generated based on the data and limits you provide and may contain errors. You remain responsible for decisions made on your account. The AI Trader executes only within the strategy, allocation, and risk limits you set, and you can pause or revoke its mandate at any time.
9. Account closure
You may close your account at any time after withdrawing or transferring your balances. We may suspend or close accounts where required by law, where activity materially breaches these terms, or where we cannot maintain the account safely. Where possible, we provide notice and a reasonable window to move funds.
10. Liability
Avin's liability is limited as described in the in-app terms. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.
11. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll notify you in-app in advance and, where required by law, give you time to review and respond before the change takes effect.
12. Governing law & disputes
The governing law and dispute resolution mechanism depend on the region in which your account is held and are described in the in-app terms. We always aim to resolve issues directly first — write to support@avin.app and we'll respond.
This page is provided for transparency. The legally binding documents are presented in-app and reviewed by counsel in each region we operate in.
